Lagar do Marmelo



Learn about all the stages of olive oil production. From the reception of the olives to the intensive and super-intensive olive grove systems, where you can get a sense of the extent of the olive grove. There's also a stop at the Marmelo Dam, an infrastructure integrated into the Alqueva project. At the end there is also a tasting, where the aim is to distinguish the main differences between olive oils.

Cinco Reis river beach



With 10,000 m² of wooded area, including olive groves, cornfields, wheat and sunflowers, and 15,000 m² of sand, with a frontage of 265 linear metres. The recreational area also includes a Nautical Activities Centre (non-motorised), where kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddle boards can be rented, a maintenance circuit and a children's playground.

Beja Castle



Visit Beja Castle and enjoy one of the best panoramic views of the city from its impressive keep. It is a medieval castle that was built at the end of the 13th century on Roman foundations by order of King D. Dinis.
